Got a new puppy? Suffering from your dog's aggressive behavior? How about excessive barking or chewing? Imagine your dog relaxed, joyful and obedient after only a few lessons of dog training.
At Smart Dog Camp, your dog will learn how to:
- Interact politely with house guests

By enrolling your pet in our dog school, we can address and fix a variety of dog behavior abnormalities such as excessive barking, biting, digging, jumping, and aggression towards humans and other animals. We will also teach you how to establish a leadership role, comprehend your dog's negative psychological triggers, crate and potty train your puppy, and basic dog obedience skills.
We offer both flexible group lessons and private classes to cater to your individual circumstances and schedule.
Group Classes
Group classes offer you a consistent, controlled environment to train your dog. For best results, group classes supplemented with some private lessons will solidify your dog's skills and speed up the results.
Basic Obedience Training
Basic obedience training is an essential part in training your dog, especially during walks and shopping where he/she will be exposed to many confrontations with other people and pets. In this class, we teach all the basic commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Leave it, Come, and Heel.
Intermediate Obedience Training
Did you know that dogs are capable of learning up to 140 commands? So why not go beyond the basics and teach your pet some advanced tasks such as bringing your newspaper in the morning or turning off your bedside lights at night!
We cover some advanced commands such as Fetch, Take it, Hold it, Drop it and more.
Dog Agility Training
Once your dog has mastered essential obedience, you may want to advance to more challenging tasks such as dog agility training. Dog agility is an enjoyable sport that provides your dog with a fun way to release excess energy. Teaching your dog new tricks is both fun and rewarding. It will impress your friends and create a special bond between you and your canine friend.
Some tricks include going through tunnels and barrels, rolling over, going up and down, jumping over obstacles and zigzagging between tightly spaced poles and lots more. Whatever your goals are, a Smart Dog Camp coach can help your dog reach new heights.
Private One on One Training
Our Private lessons serve two purposes. First, you and your dog will be most comfortable in the convenience of your own home. Second, your home is a more effective training environment for some situations such as welcoming a new puppy. In-house lessons help your puppy adjust to his/her new environment, reduce fear, aggression and problems arising from separation from his/her litter.
Lessons are custom designed to fit you and your dog. For the first few sessions, we will concentrate on getting your dog started with basic obedience and behavior training. Subsequent lessons will focus on guiding you to effectively work with your pet.

Puppy Training
Your puppy's first few weeks are a critical time to teach him/her the basic skills needed to thrive among humans and other pets in the same household. By training your puppy early on, you can establish a healthy, life-long relationship.
Puppy training is available in both our group sessions and private lessons. Your puppy will be trained on developing good manners, basic social skills and adjusting to his/her new household. Our approach is gentle and fun designed to get all members of the family - including youngsters - involved.
Your puppy will learn the following skills:
- House and potty training
- Eliminating unacceptable behavior such as nipping, chewing on furniture, unnecessary barking, begging and jumping up.
- Teaching your puppy to quickly respond when called.
- Leash training
- Basic obedience training and Impulse control commands such as "leave it", "Wait", "Settle down"
- Overcoming aggression, separation anxiety and fear.
Baby Adjustment Program
If you are expecting, your dog will need to adjust his/her behavior once the newborn arrives. This will ensure a smooth transition for you, your newborn and your pet. Your pooch needs to know when to leave your baby alone by responding to basic obedience commands such as stay, sit, off, leave it, as well as stay quiet during your baby's nap times.
Training should start as early as 6 months prior to giving birth. Your dog will be introduced to a variety of baby sounds, smells and baby items such as strollers and toys so he/she gets used to hanging peacefully around your newborn.
